Will recycled paper decompose faster than regular paper or news paper?

Hypothesis

My hypothesis is that the recycled paper will decompose faster than the newspaper and the magazine paper.

General Plan

My general plan will be to decompose three different types of paper, recycled paper,newspaper and regular paper. First i will have to measure the mass of all the papers. Then set them to decompose all at the same rate. After dry all of the types of paper in a small heating oven or in a paper bag.Next i will take the measurements of all the types of paper again and conclude witch paper decomposed the fastest.

Getting soil,get soil from Lowes.(if i cant get soil from the ground)

Detailed Procedure

1. You will need a bag of soil
2. nine cups and three different types of paper
3. first you need to fill the nine cups half full of soil
4. then you need to fold the nine different pieces of paper small enough that it will fit into the cup.
5. after that you will need to measure the weight of each types of paper and write it on the cups.
6. Then you need to to top off each cup with a little bit of soil.
7. After that you need to put them somewhere and wait for the paper to decompose.
8. once the paper has decomposed you measure the mass of each piece of paper decomposed.

Regular paper decompose faster than the other papers. Than magizien paper decopsoed the second fastest and then newspaper came in last for decopostion time.

Conclusion

My hypothisis was right that paper would decopose the fastest out of the three papers
